A place I can call home. I have worked a lot over the years at Wyresdale Park and it’s a wedding venue I know very well. When I arrived at Wyresdale Park something new had been built with the venue constantly evolving with new lodges & facilities It really is a wedding venue that ticks all the boxes.
Outdoor Wild Swimming
I had been asked to arrive at Wyresdale Park early in the morning. This was because Dan and his best men were planning on taking a dip in the lake to shake off the beers from that night before, I think this is a cool way to start your wedding day. After the guys all had a swim I walked over to the North Wing where the bridesmaids and bride were getting ready for a lovely building that’s attached to the main house.

Wedding Breakfast
Rachael & Dan had planned for their wedding to take place inside the barn with a drinks reception after the ceremony on the Lawn at the back of the House is the perfect spot for your guests to hang out while the sun is shining. This gives you a good opportunity to get the family portraits with the woods as a backdrop.

It was time for the wedding breakfast supplied by the Stiped Pig Catering company followed by speeches a few kind words and funny stories told about the bride and groom and how they met. Overall it was an amazing day creating memories for years to come.
