Historic Wyresdale Park Wedding Venue
Wyresdale park was built in 1856 that has since been renovated to be used as a wedding venue with its stunning grounds and Lake. Shepherd Whewell purchased Nicky Nook Fell, Grizedale Valley and Holme Wood. In 1967 James Whewell purchased Wyresdale Park Hall and Sandsbottom Farm, making good on his commitment to keeping the historic core of Wyresdale Park alive.
Sally & Andrew didn’t hold back on their Wedding plans at Wyresdale Park one of my favourite Lancashire Wedding venues to work at, with its beautiful grounds and rustic barns giving you countless photo opportunities on your Wedding day. The bridal party & guests got the opportunity to stay in the on-site luxury bell tents as well as full use of the house for bridal prep.
The bridal prep started at 9 am when sally and her bridesmaids were all getting their hair and makeup done in the main house which is spacious and full of large windows with plenty of light to get creative. Andrew and his groomsmen had full access to the luxury bell tents in the morning to get ready and relax before the ceremony.
Wyresdale Park Ceremony
The ceremony took place in the stunning barn located on-site at Wyresdale Park the venue was decorated with pink and cream flowers from Bells & Daisies. The great thing about the florist Gemma is that she is located on-site at Wyresdale Park. Before they knew it Sally & Andrew had got married, all the guests moved out to the large garden located at the back of Wyresdale Park, with the sun shining and drinks flowing I got all the guests together for the confetti & group photos.
The weather seriously could not have been any better, on the lawn there were garden games to entertain the kids, oh and not forgetting some of the adults!
I took Sally & Andrew away from their guests for 30 minutes to explore some of the grounds at Wyresdale Park, If you did not know already they have a stunning lake that you have full access which is located on the grounds. Sally & Andrew did not hesitate in getting in the small rowing boat on the lakeside to get some stunning photos.
On to the speeches and with the best man being Andrew’s brother he did not hold back in telling a few funny stories about Andrew.
Before they knew it the cake was cut and they were dancing on the dance floor to their first dance, honestly, this was the perfect summer Wedding at Wyresdale Park, Congratulations to you both and thank you for choosing me to be your wedding photographer I had so much fun and I can’t wait to return next year. Take your time to have a look through some of my highlight images below from their Wedding day.
